Remembering the {WTF} Days - What the Internet Still Knows About Us
What's up Fraggers! It's your boy Jason Smith - I went digging around the internet to see what's still out there about our old crew, and I actually found some stuff that brought back all the memories. Here's what's still floating around:
Our Steam Group is STILL Up

21 members strong, founded August 8, 2007. The description still says The #1 place to be! - and honestly, it was. All our old server listings are still there: #1 Main, #2 GG|TB|DM, #3 WCS, #4 CAL, and the TF2 Pub. If your old Steam account is still in the group, you're OG certified.
LordNikonX's Last Call
Back on September 5, 2012, LordNikonX posted on the group asking is anyone in this group still playing counterstrike source and if so what server? - that hit different. That was basically the last post on the group wall. If you're out there LordNikonX, we're still here brother.
The Ventrilo Server
Someone found our old Vent info posted on a forum - vent.theserverspot.com port 8294, open to anyone 18+. Remember those late night Vent sessions? The trash talk, the strats, the random conversations at 3AM while warming up on GunGame? That was the real social media before social media.
What We Had
For those who don't remember or are new here, we ran 5 servers out of TheServerSpot.com:
- {WTF}TheServerSpot.com #1 - The main CSS pub, this is where it all started
- {WTF}TheServerSpot.com #2 GG|TB|DM - GunGame, Turbo, Deathmatch - pure chaos
- {WTF}TheServerSpot.com #3 WCS - Warcraft Server, because regular CS wasn't enough
- {WTF}TheServerSpot.com #4 CAL - Competitive/CAL practice for when we got serious
- {WTF}TheServerSpot.com TF2 Pub #1 - Our TF2 home
We were a small crew but we were tight. 21 members on Steam, but the regulars who played on our servers every day made it feel like a family.
This New Site
I built this site (well, Claude Code AI built it for me - check the footer lol) to keep the {WTF} spirit alive. If you're an old member finding this somehow, create an account and say what's up. If you're new and just vibing with the old school gaming community feel, you're welcome here too.
